Our father, Raymond Shane was the owner of Associated GMC Truck Co. in Chicago. and eventually sold his dealership to AVIS RENT A CAR. When the dealership was sold , my father signed a non-compete clause relating to auto and truck leasing so our family entered into other leasing areas. For the past thirty years, we have been headquartered in South Florida.
